Jeff Healey passed away on 2 March, 2008, aged just 41. He lost his eyesight to cancer as a baby and has lost his life to it now. I just found out today. I've loved him since I was sixteen. He was such an amazing musician and an amazing human being. He has been blind since he was less than a year, and learned to play the guitar at three. He had a passion for jazz and blues and was keeping some of the old classics alive. He was widely respected by many musicians and got to play with Stevie Rae Vaughan and George Harrison among others.
