This is my day six entry in my Christmas Journal. It is about Advent Calendars. The paper is Basic Grey Blitzen & the ribbon should be more of an olive colour than it looks. The candle was burning the 5 ball, which was the date on the day. Someone let me know please if the journalling can't be read and I will type it out. Some fiddly cutting around those balls, let me tell you!

Day 4 from Shimelle's Christmas Journal class. I imagined how this Christmas Day might go, all being well. On each bauble I wrote a snapshot of some of the moments I hope to share with my husband. It made him go all misty looking forward to it...

The background is handpainted with liquid acrylics, the bauble hooks were cut with Quickutz from art metal, the rest of the ornaments with Quickutz as well.

I am SO loving this course.

So I guess I'll go to bed now, before it gets light!
Z came over to make Christmas cards and she made some lovely ones.
I made none, but I did create my day 3 Christmas Journal which appropriately enough is about Christmas cards.
