when weekends used to feel like this. Just got back from a wonderful weekend with friends. Food, booze, laughter, dance mats (hence the laughter!), sunshine, kids, kittens, green grass, blue sky. All good!

First weekend in ages that I have been relaxed enough to really kick back. My coursework is finished, my job is finished for the summer. It's nice to be back!

Is this the beginning? Is it a one off?
Please let there be no retaliation against groups who are not responsible.
How horrifying for those who were there, and for those who loved people who lost their lives. But the sheer numbers of people who were hurt, or witnesses will go ensure the impact of this day goes on in hearts and minds for years to come.

All my coursework is in. May have corrections left to do, but the work itself is DONE! So happy, but vaguely disbelieving. Three more interviews to do next week, shlepping 2 hours in each direction for each one, but still - I've done all the work. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOO!
